Privacy policy
The Reverune preview demo is a small online test of the game Reverune, run by its developer, DempaKeiko. This page says what the demo keeps about you and why. Questions, or a request to see or delete your data: herspexx@gmail.com.
What the demo keeps
- An anonymous ID from Google. You sign in with Google, and the game asks Google only for an ID that identifies your account to this game (the
openidscope). The demo never receives your name, email address, picture or contacts from Google. - The name you choose for your account in the game, which other players see.
- Your game progress: your character, its level, items, gold and the rest of your progress, so you can continue where you left off.
This is kept in the demo's database, on the developer's own computer.
Connections
- Your game reaches the demo's servers through Portwarp, a relay service. The demo's servers see the relay, not your IP address; Portwarp handles the connection under its own privacy policy.
- The launcher downloads the game and its updates from GitHub, which sees your IP address under GitHub's privacy statement.
- Every connection to the demo's servers is encrypted.
On your own PC
The game keeps your login on your PC, encrypted for that PC, so you don't have to sign in every time; Log out in the game's Settings removes it. The launcher keeps the window size you chose.
What the demo doesn't do
No ads, no analytics or tracking, and your data is never sold or shared with anyone.
How long it is kept
Your account and progress are kept while the preview demo runs. Progress may be reset when the demo changes, and everything is deleted when the demo ends. You can ask for your account and progress to be deleted at any time, at the address above.
Children
The preview demo is not meant for children under 13.
